The year 2016 is at its dying embers, ready to flicker off like a candle in the wind.
It was an eventful year, ushered in by hopes and dreams, our myriad of aspirations propelling us to the verge of conquering the world, plans were made from the onset which were quietly discarded as the year gradually wore on, revealing amongst its many challenges the tsunami aptly named ‘economic recession’, which fast became an easily identifiable “caption”.
2016 was not contented with just being the harbinger of economic woes, robbing a lot of Peters’ to pay the Pauls’
(No one is to be blamed, 2017 is gonna be better).
Now talking about 2017, most of us have written long lists of our dos and don’ts, new year resolutions if you may. We are so determined to accomplish them because they are still very fresh in our hearts. (Strive hopefully. They are achievable)
How many out of the lists you made last year were you able to accomplish?
How many of the bad habits were you able to drop?
Maybe because we didn’t press’s hard enough (Yea!maybe)
Old habits are die-hard.
Mere writing and speaking without action can change NOTHING.
We resolve in our hearts to do things, yet we do nothing because we hardly back them up with action.
What measures will you take to make 2017 better?
For me, I’m so concentrating on my strength.
