2)Avoid sugary foods: It is very important to be aware of your complete cycle, you should always avoid eating any food or beverage that contains sugar few days to your menstruation and during the menstrual days. Intake of sugar has been known to increase the pains. Avoid sugary tea and soft drinks and all those foods or sweet things.
3) Apply Heat: Heat helps to relieve you of pains during your menstrual period. You have to get heating pads or pouch and apply it towards your abdomen. If you can not easily get access to a heating pad immediately, you can as well fill a plastic bottle with hot water and use that in place of heating pad but ensure that the water is not too hot as to avoid causing you any harm on your skin.
4) Drink Warm beverages without adding sugar or you can as well drink warm water. Warm water preferably.
5) Massage with essential oil: You should get essential oil and massage your abdomen and your waist region with the oil. Massage has a soothing effect on the body and it can help reduce your pains.
