Avoid these food items after delivery. All foods are not to be consumed immediately after delivery. Eating them can result to a whole lot of issues, ranging from being overweight, to constant body weakness.

However, the truth of the matter is that you must be very careful about your health even post pregnancy. This is very important because whatever you have in your diet or you consume has a direct impact on your baby through breastfeeding. It is necessary to know when you are taking care of your diet, by extension you are taking care of your baby.
There are certain types of food items that are really bad for your health after pregnancy. Let’s look at what they are and avoid them.
Excessive Spicy food
Spicy foods taste really nice, but not a good food for your baby’s health. It gets to the baby’s body easily, it affects the baby’s digestive tract, entire system and blood. It can harm the baby’s health. So, it is better to avoid spicy food and gradually introduce it after six months of delivery.
Foods that are oily
Too much oily food leads to the accumulation of fat in the body, it can alter your body structure and your look. Avoid consuming sweets, margarine or other fatty foods. In place of these things, you can add soybean, olive oil or peanut oil to your diet.
Food items that has high level of gas and acidity
Do not eat the food items that lead to burps, gas and acidity. These food items impact the health of your baby. For this avoid things like cheese, ice cream, carbonated drinks etc. These foods can cause overweight.
Any food you are allergic to
This should not be compromised. Avoid foods that you are allergic to all the times. So, avoid any food item you are allergic to because when you don’t you are taking in something that will be bad for the baby.
Caffeine
The coffee contains caffeine that harm delivery. It is not good for pregnant women. Many women opt for coffee to keep their energy level up but it is advisable to keep it afar immediately after delivery.
